A MESSAGE FROM OUR CO-FOUNDERS
Following the tragic murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, we made a personal commitment to listen and learn more about the inequities that exist for vulnerable communities in the city of Atlanta. Like many others, we were greatly moved to become part of the change needed to help propel our society and humanity forward.
Together, we decided to make a significant financial contribution to reinforce our commitment to being part of the solution. We also established a GoFundMe campaign out of our deep desire to be inclusive and create a new pathway to unite all Atlanta communities in pursuit of a common goal. We were overwhelmed by the response, which helped us raise more than 1.3M dollars in additional funding. These foundational dollars were instrumental to the successful launch of ATL, a non-profit foundation born out of love and compassion for all children, especially those in underserved communities. ATL serves as a beacon of hope and possibility for generational change by working tirelessly to stop inequality where it starts—in adolescence.
