OUR MISSION
To Alleviate structural barriers to Black youth success by working with after school programs to increase the social capital of Black youth and their families.
ATL accomplishes its mission through partnerships with nonprofits, academia, professional athletes, businesses, law enforcement, and community advocates. ATL supports youth development organizations that address educational advancement, social-emotional development, and economic mobility in Black
youth ages 5 to 24.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDERS
Following the tragic murder of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, we made a personal commitment to listen and learn more about the inequities that exist for vulnerable communities in the city of Atlanta. Like many others, we were greatly moved to become part of the change needed to help propel our society and humanity forward.
